I've recently rediscoverd massive attack and air (moon safari) for some pre bed time tunes. Any recommendations for relaxing music? Spotify is my new best friend |

I challenge anyone to listen to the album Facts Of Life from Black Box Recorder without mellowing out bigtime.
It's almost impossible to drive a car while listening to it because it zones you out it's so chilled.
The singer has the most gorgeous voice. |

For me I find heavy metal relaxing, from when I was a teenager and still today I fall asleep to Rammstein, Metallica and many others. I also find Jean Michelle Jarre very relaxing as well. |

Old skool dubstep is really chilled out and spaces you out although a good pair of speakers/headphones is needed to experience it properly
kryptic minds, youngsta, kode9. all great artists.
sit back, headphones on and let the bass consume you
chills me out anyway |

Nightmares on Wax; Smokers Delight or Car Boot Soul are both great albums.
The Global Communications album 76:14 is a great chill out album, the track 14:31 with a click ticking is near hypnotic |

if you like a complte chillout, Enigma albums are usually a winner, and you could do worse than try out "turnupthebass - ultimate dream mix" (there are 2 volumes to it, both are ace)
tried and tested.
