It's about a mile from us and we usually go and watch the deranged halfwits nearly killing themslves.

Then we start admiring them and despising ourselves for being useless and flabby. But that wears off after a bit, luckily.

My dad has done a few of both winter and summer ones. It's bad enough for the spectators let alone competitors.

Of my running goes well who knows I might follow in the family footsteps next year haha

I in training for the summer one, I have a friend who did the winter one 3/4 years ago in sub zero temperatures and he put me off the winter one, not that I would have every entered it as I'm a fair weather runner at the best of times
