Absolutely, most are lovely buildings.

Whatever it was used for before does not concern me.

Some friends of mine bought a converted chapel in an Oxfordshire village. The house was great, but it didn't have a garden.

East midlands

I would love to live in either...They're beautiful. I'm not religious so it would have no bearing...

Glasgow

No different to living in a former brothel or the confiscated home of an armed robber.

I wouldn’t want to live in one, but that’s not for spiritual reasons…..

I think it would depend if it came with a grave yard.

I know someone that does live in a converted church with a small graveyard, i find it spooky when i visit but i must admit they have cleaned up and planted flowers on all the graves, i think the newest one there is late 70's

We have some gorgeous ones that have been converted in this area. If I could afford one, I'd have no hesitation of living in one.

Once they stop being a place of worship they usually have a ceremony to signify the closure. I forget the name now - even the Welsh one

I have done, in the centre of a grave yard, took a while to get used to it, but a great investment! and no noisy neighbours, a bit worrying when the dog bought some bones in

I could live in one, imagine the space you could do things with.

Also all the stained glass windows are yours for free as well.
