A Secret Hideaway In the caravan of love |
I am sure we've all gone through time's, where we have given a chance to someone, only for it to be thrown back in our faces.
So, how many chances do you give to people, depending on the circumstances. |

I gave someone way too many and I'm the one who got hurt the most in the end. Onwards and upwards though. Lesson learnt and confidence to be built again |

On here - one.
In real life - it depends on the person and situation. If it were a serious matter maybe more than one - if they were lucky and I was feeling well-disposed.
If I was seriously pissed off by someone - no chance at all!
I may give the benefit of the doubt once or twice but beyond that there would have to be some extremely extenuating circumstances.
My attitude is that if you need to apologise to me more than once for something then you don't really mean it, as, if you did, you would not have repeated it. And I hate platitudes - if you apologise - mean it or don't bother. |

It depends, largely on the intention behind someones errors. If they cant be bothered, then neither can I with them, so possibly just one chance. Serious wrongs the same usually. Minor things, a couple of times. Fab, it is usually one chance too. Too many pricks and thoughtless people out there, but also lots of golden spirits who deserve my time. |

The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own.
No apologies, no excuses,
No one lean on, rely on, or blame.
The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it.
This is the day your life really begins. |

Two.
I'm not perfect myself so there just might be an occasion when I would like to be given a second chance. But I'd never expect a third one.. ..nor will I offer one....no matter what the circumstances. |

More than they deserve usually. I'm giving someone another chance tomorrow. I have said it's his last chance but I know if he messes me around I will give him another and another |

Why would he change his behaviour if you reward him for bad behaviour? If he knows it's not his last chance he has no incentive to stick to the plan.
If I got to the point of telling someone that it was their last chance then it's their last chance.

"Hold on! Hold on! Hold on!
Can I have this put in context pls.
Are we talking meets from here or actual friends that are valued and worth supporting ?"
I think some are reading it as just here. My answer applies to people here, friends and family. It depends.

"
this
but to be fair I'm normally the one that needs to be given a chance, not the other way round! |

"Depends on the person.
Some only get one while others will get a thousand.
I haven't got time for a thousand. Can I do mine all in one week pls ?"
You are already on your last one... |

I thought it meant meets off here....outside of fab, I don't have a rule, just go with the flow. One friend let's me down almost always by always ALWAYS being late so now I simply make the time to meet 2 hours before I ever intended so I also turn up 'late' too.

I didn't tell him it was his last chance. We've met lots of times. His problem is letting me know if he isn't free when he has asked to see me. I'm patient and understanding and he was my first lover after my husband so he has a special place in my heart. He made me feel good about myself |

So, how many chances do you give to people, depending on the circumstances." Depends on the circumstances and how believeable and genuine the context is. I am quite forgiving, possibly too forgiving but I am not a mug, when I do I CHOOSE to forgive if this makes sense. |
