Over the last year I have lost my entire family, my sister, nieces, nephews the lot, All over a corrected spelling. It ended with some of them wishing well...NOT....Evil
A couple of years ago I was found and was asked to a school reunion because we all turned 50 and they it would be good for us all to get together.....Good
Now we all hardly speak and some wished that things and people should have been left in the past.
I really only use it now for contacts on certain sites and photo's
What about you lovely fabbers have you ever experienced bad vibes that you have had to block just the way we do here?? |

Facebook is a blessing and a curse. I have old school "friends" on there that didn't give a toss about me when I was actually in school with them, and a random collection of family (close and not so close) and people I've met over the years online from various sites and hobbies.
I've not had too many drama bombs on there but seen plenty. Keep your chin up. |

I only use it really to keep in touch with friends and family that I'd never contact so for me it's good. I don't go on there all the time. I've certainly never found the need to block anyone. |

I only use it for two things. To chat to my boyfriend and share silly internet stuff with him and my very few friends on there and to follow pages of people whose art I like. So it works for me.
It's a very intrusive site if you let it be though. I don't give out my real info on there and have it shut down security wise so I'm happy enough with it. |

I've been quite happy to learn from others mistakes and not ventured on there. I only see harm from it.
If someone wants to contact me, pick up the phone, write me a letter, send me a pigeon or visit.
I've heard some truly sad stories.... |

Bad ! i stopped using it when Shares were sold and the Privacy rules were changed.
It is now a Paedos Paradise and second only to Hotmail on ease of hacking.
Bend over and take one for the Corporation.

It's good if you don't post every detail of your life. I have sold items, laughed at funny videos/pics, chatted in groups for like minded people, reunited lost pets with owners and during the recent tidal surge when the news stopped updating people I got most of my updates from Facebook and Twitter. |

Facebook is the biggest waste of time in my opinion young people today don't seem to be able to live without it and it will eventually have a effect on their social skills what's wrong with a good conversation face to face or over the phone ? people used to call each other of go to see them to catch up now they just look at a timeline.
back before Facebook and camera phones did you sit down for dinner and think that looks particularly tasty I will take a picture of that, take it to boots to get developed and send it to all my friends to show them what I had for dinner ? the answer is probably no so why do people feel the need to post pictures of their bloody dinner on Facebook with a brief description of previously eaten culinary delight ?
rant over !! |

Wake up folks and smell the 21st century! Face book is the telephone of today! Peeps are now choising to communicate on mass via a different medium for free!
Why would you not? |

I have a Facebook account and have only family and close friends on it. When I travel abroad alone I post daily pictures and add comments on my wall so my loved ones can see me having fun and making friends so they don't have to worry about me.
Also saves me having to send several messages: can upload everything immediately from my phone. |
