We don't worry about it at all. If she needs money she just takes it off the bedside table or out if the safe. If there's non to take and there is something expensive she needs I just give her a card.
If I'm popping to the shop for essential wine supplies I may grab some out of her purse but we always tell each other. |

I was brought up... It was a bad manners to go into a ladies bag. I never went in my mothers. My eldest son won't go in mine either. Danny's seems to have qualms in rummaging |

us men are taught as kids never to go into mummys bag, that then progresses into adult life with our partners/wives.
handbags/purses are taboo, and from childhood experience can lead to a smacked hand |

Though I have no problem with J taking cash from my wallet if she needs it, and would happily take it if her purse was out on the side or something, we both replace what we took when convenient and don't take the last, But I won't go into her handbag be like reading her text messages or some other violation |

My Dad always said you should never ask anyone how much they earn or rummage into a ladies handbag
I expect to be asked, and I expect the bag brought to me so I check for change, its like someone rummaging in my knickers without asking.....you just don't do it |

I wouldn't go through Luke's wallet, and he doesn't go through my purse or handbag, wouldn't have a problem with it, it's just something we have never done |

Rummaging through a lady's bag is a dangerous occupation! Rummaging through my knickers is an activity I would positively encourage him to become proficient in! |

I dont have a problem with Jayne going in my wallet, she always asks anyway so I know how much cash I got left.
I cant go in her bag though, guess it's just the way I was bought up, Jayne asks me to go in her purse... I just bring her the bag. |

Ditto.
I can never go through anyone's bag. Male or female. It just feels rude and an invasion of their privacy. Who knows what i may find in their bag by accident.
...i usually hide a few things in my bag you see lol
But, i can never do that. Even if i have permission and been given the all clear.

My husband is the same. He says it's because he can't find anything in there. I on the other hand I will lift any bit of money he leaves lying around. I drive him mad. But in my mind, I am just tidying up.
