This is just a comment, a musing if you will. Oftentimes, when single guys complain about not getting meets, someone comments that they have more success getting sex through pof than fab.
Now, I have a profile on both & display a similar sense of humour on both - without the pof profile being more vanilla ofcourse - & I find that getting a reply to a message on pof is a good deal harder than getting a reply on fab. Nigh on impossible in fact. Which makes me think that some guys have regressed to playground boasts of meets that have never happened.
Could be wrong though.

It's like everything else that's claimed on here though...100's of messages a day someone slagging me off, people sending rude messages, no shows.....and so on. I'm sure it does happen, but unless you actually see these things first hand you only have the OP's word for it. |

I got one date in 2 years on pof, plenty of meets & fun on here in half that time. I'm sure for some pof is a major successes, like those who met their partners on there. Good for you, genuinely. I'm just saying that in my experience, as hard as it is for single guys on fab, it's a hell of a lot harder on pof, with equal effort put into both. |

Many years ago when Guntree allowed personals that was pretty good. Got a lot of dates and more from there. I've tried Craigslist but that seems to be mostly guys theses days. Though I have met one very special girl on it. |

It might not make sense, but it's true. Might be the mugshot thing cos hundreds look at my profile on pof but none reply to messages. On here I get more response. Maybe it's the fact there are forums here to get some chat going? Dunno.
