Every Manager should be given Two seasons minimum, I reckon once he has had the time to get a Team that he wants playing how he wants all the instant success moaners will be singing his praises.
After all it was the sweaty sock wanker who picked him as a succesor |

As we kindly have ManU Moyes & Fellaini ( and Nevile & Round) can we have Rooney back now? Thanks
Joking aside....Moyes inherited a group of players that were largely pay the sell by date. Ferguson should have strengthened them earlier (and yes I know they are the current champions but the only other 3 realistic contenders were poor last session)
Given time he will be fine there apart from the fact that his instinct is more defensive than attacking. But then again he never had players of the calibre of a fit RVP or-for long enough anyway the granny shagger- at Everton so give him 2 seasons to see where he is at then. Not winning the PL for a while is not a catastrophe whatever the prawn sandwich munchers think. |

Fergie has stitched him right up he knew his squad wasn't up to scratch and got out of there. Must say I am thoroughly enjoying the plight of the mighty Man U long may it continue |

David Moyes has promised fans of Manchester United that they will be in a major European competition next year... even if he has to write the song himself |

He is way out of his depth .
To try and turn United into Everton is crazy , yet he has succeeded already !
The guy is a joke and it's on us ... With the share prices in free fall I wouldn't give him more than a couple of months , and that's 8 weeks too long ! |

I don't think he's out of his depth at all. I do think he should have kept on some of the old coaching staff though, Mike Phealan etc. That would have at least given abit of continuity. He inherited an ageing squad & the departure of David Gill didnt help him in the summer transfer market. |

Mata £35m bet Jose is having a right good laugh yes a world class player but will need time to fit into the team and I don't think he will play In the same kind of position he was for Chelsea last year simply because of the way united play. Think your defence needs sorting first. |

Turning Utd into Everton? We're still a football club, not a global "brand" We don't have a falling share price to be bothered about or American vultures to bleed us dry and long may that continue! |

Some awful management decisions, teamed up with no form or strategy on the pitch due to players not gelling is only going to lead to disaster.
Moyes is ridiculously out of his depth, Ferguson brought him in cos he needed another dower jock.
Minimum requirement for a team like United is a manager that has at least won the champions league, thats how the glazers will see it, and if they lose tonight Moyes will be gone im sure. |

Ah...sorry! But our playing style was a lot better than given credit for but Moyes is a pragmatist. If we could have bought attacking expensive players he would have.
Fellaini wouldn't suit RM's approach. Rooney would though... let him come back but no. .. you aren't having Barkley! |

He'll come good-The Glaziers are taking way too much cash out the coffers and he's getting no backing.
Also RV Persie has been a big loss and the present team are just not up to scratch. |

The problem is, at Everton his target was not to lose. At Man U he is expected to win. He does not have an attacking mentality.
Fergie chose him as successor to make himself look even better! |

people seem to be looking at everton and saying he is shit because of what martinez is doing with them, but lets be honest, thats moyes' team/squad.
he built everton into what they are, and, for all the fancy football they are playing now, they will still finish in the same position as moyes' everton did (5/6/7th)
the squad at man u is oversized and overrated.
too many old guys.
too many not good enough
personally, i think he is working wonders getting a tune out of Young and valencia.
there are reasons why he isnt picking zaha, and apparently that came to light in the recent U21's game for united (look on talksport website)
he needs money and time to rebuild this squad. 4th and the final will be a reasonable season for what he has.
hate that people are referring back to last seaason and 'they won the title easily'
yes, they did.
and all the other top clubs were fcuked.
they have all spent well in the closed season, man u havent
all the players are a year older, a year slower and a year more injured. |

the more i see the more i think hes in over his head. i dont see real passion in him
Man U needed a special replacement for fergie. Moyes is not a special manager imo |

A great Manager who has the utmost integrity. He said a few seasons ago that he would take Everton above Man Yoo in the league & he's done that in style. He's already my "Manager of the season" & if he fails to get Man Yoo into Europe then I think he should be knighted! |

Inherited a poor squad which is arguably about where it should be in the league. When Rooney and RVP return I would back them to claw back the 6 points they need to make the champions league which the powers that be at United will be more than happy with and then he will be judged on the team he builds rather than the one he inherited. If he doesn't make the champions league I can see him going in the summer. Is Mata another Fellani, a player on the way down rather than up, time will tell. |

Fergie only managed Aberdeen before united so to say winning trophies is how someone is allowed to be manager of united or anywhere else is ridiculous.
End of day its the players on pitch not doing the job. |
