I've noticed that there seems to be two distinct groups between forumites and chat users, I'd suggest that chatters are the bigger group, the chattering masses you could call them.
I like both actually however I would probably lay my hat in the forum ring should push come to shove.
I understand why a lot of ladies would not enter the bearpit of the chat rooms, but I suppose the forum could be just as daunting.
So who's for which, will i see any forumites in chat ever?

I think both serve a great purpose in building a good network and getting yourself known. They allow personality to be shown and that does play a part that may eventually lead to a meet.
All the hi's and bye's eventually put me off chat and I preferred the older chat platform as the fucked up whispers bitching about people were very very funny when they happened.

I've been in chat, but I'm not keen. Too many hi and bye getting in the way of a conversation. I had to turn off the private messages. Lots of guys wanting to see my tits.
I prefer the forum, the quality of wit is a lot higher, depending on Soxy's shift pattern  |

You can't talk about anything in the chat rooms - it's more like swatting flies than debate.
And if I'm brutally honest at least in the forums I'm just concentrating on what is written rather than what I'm seeing - which on my fleeting visits to the chat rooms hasn't been good. |

Been trying chat a bit lately in my iPad but just get loads of blokes saying how nice our pics are and always assume that they are talking to gilly when they are not |

I was thinking the same the other day, hubby likes the chat rooms but I'm really not keen. Forums all the way for me, you guys are great (well most are  ) |

I use both, but tend to use the forums more as there tends to be more topics to talk about. I often find some chat rooms are soley focussed on cam _iewing. That and it can be difficult to get involved in conversations already started.
Plus the forums are great for when I am in work... like now

Sorry MG, Tina called the queen of forum wit correctly.
It's interesting that lots of folk are like me, in that they have moved from chat to the forum, it's true that ironically it can be very difficult to chat I a chat room.
Of course the replys would be different if askedin the chat rooms. |
