A doctor I saw earlier. He told me I have low platelet levels. I asked in a total deadpan way, 'Dr, tell me honestly and hit me with it as hard as you need, but does this mean I've got to tell people not to bother getting me any birthday presents for the 7th of Feb?'  |

crystal. She is working away tonight but left me a note in the kitchen. Not a romantic note, more a note reminding me that I am generally massively disorganised and indirectly reminding me that without her I am pretty useless! |

I know I sense fireworks, meet was on the cards. She came up to start a new conversation and said plans have to be postponed . She's got great humour. That's why I am happy and sad  |

My Nan who has dementia . I've been told to keep jogging her memory, so yesterday asked her what colour her wheelchair was. She said " god you're losing it young lady , don't you know that? " life in the old girl yet & I grinned from ear to ear. |
