"We spent a two week holiday in Morston and Blakeny and never saw a traffic light. We loved it!"
Fine for a holiday. It's not so much fun to live here. It's a shock after Hampshire, and being so close to London, even though I knew what to expect. |

Yeah it's a pain. Nice place to live and it's isolation from this century is why! But the gay scene in Norwich is 2 pubs, both away from the center of the city. Swingers have nowt.
I was glad I went away with work alot or I'd have gone mental while I lived there. |

Again, yes, it's lovely to visit.
I suppose it's fine if you can afford to travel to clubs and stay over. I can't so having nothing local is a pain. |

It's the thing some love the country and to others it is torture. You need to build up a network of friends close by |

Oh yes, I understand why there aren't any. I'd just like to be able to go to clubs more. It's frustrating when it needs to be a weekend away every time. It's too expensive to do that often.
One night at Xtasia is £150 without counting any drinks or food. More than half of that is fuel. And trains from Norwich don't go anywhere useful. For most journeys, train route planners say go into London and back out again! |

I wish chameleons was only a 1/2 hour drive away but it's not clubs have to be commercially viable to work and I just don't think there is the customer base in this part of the world |

The frustrating thing for us is that we've got more friends in the West Midlands than we have in East Anglia |

Its the same in North Essex as we are in the the arse end of nowhere out here, the nearest clubs are a 90 min journey away so its off putting before you even start.
As they are long distances you have then got hotel fee's on top so we rarely do clubs now.

Sounds lovely, we just tend to have made more friends at chameleons than other clubs, just always seems so friendly there always have so much fun there, we missed this weekends birthday celebration. We have got local friends but there is not the opportunity to meet up as much locally it's either house parties or meet at clubs so then you traveling long distances to meet people who live 10 miles away |

We love going up to Blackpool as we have made some good friends up north & them guys know how to party but with costs of £150 petrol before we stay anywhere it gets expensive, with everything included an average bill for a long weekend is £400+.
