Is there a topic you wouldn't comment on?

This forum is full of colourful conversations and I was just wondering if anyone out there has seen a subject and thought "no, i aint getting involved in that"?

So, what topic would you not want to get involved in?

Great question Mally, but think I would only abstain from commenting if the rules said I had to be serious all of the time.

Most of what I have to say is pretty tongue in cheek, although sometimes a subject does get my literary juices flowing

The sly malicious ones you see now and again. Its not worth getting involved as you know all is not quite what it seems.

Time does not permit the commenting on every thread even if sometimes we feel we want to support a newbie forumite. So we restrict ourselves to posting on only a few. We tend to avoid subjects where we commented before unless there is a new slant or take on the matter, thats all realy

There are plenty I won't comment on, amongst which would be those by certain members who cannot be named!

I tend to read and comment the threads that are actually about something but then again I'm a bit of a tart so I'll comment on anything.

Notting

Depends if i can be arsed sometimes.

If a thread been going a while and gone off topic, or toooo long to read.

Otherwise it just depends if i have a comment or wise crack (depending on thread) to make.

Now what was the question again ,

I tend to read them, but if it's not going to leave my wiser or with more understanding of something, i tend to leave part way through, as it becomes one of the following, someone creeping (to get a meet) arguing a trivial point (scoring points), or when it bears no relation to what it was (drifting and thread crashing).

I hope I never become a person who has to say anything rather than something
