I've got a horrible cold so have made a huge pan of stew and dumplings. You can't beat a bit of stodge when you're feeling rubbish.

What's your comfort food for when you feel miserable/poorly?? X

I fractured my hand at work yesterday so will indulge in a different take away each night for a few days until the novelty wears off. Will also take some comfort from cocodamol and my good friend Pinot Grigio

In cancun there was a Haagen Dazs bar you could get milkshakes made out of your fave flavour and huge waffle cones with about 4/5 scoops in! It was amazing!

I have the solution. Both of you bring your children to me and you can go for a meal at my wonderful chip shop. Anything after that you will have to sort out for yourselves but if I like the children I will babysit again and help them into a little toddler romance.

A very hot and spicy Indian takeaway is always good for a cold, which is what i always have when i've got a sniffle.

Other than that, Big soup or Tomato soup with bread.

If its a sore throat then ice cream or something else cold like yogurt.

Hope you feel better soon.
