In a crisp poke on the A814

A lot of people at work using the ones with different flavours...

Seems to work for them...

Hubby has been a regular smoker since age 14. He has tried patches, sprays, willpower. All of them failed. He has splashed out about £80 on e cigs, (the vapour ones) and fruit flavoured nicotine liquids. He did not like the e cigs that look like a cigarette but he actually enjoys the vape cigs and has been cigarette free for just over a month. On previous attempts he would not go out for a beer or drink at home but he has absolutely no problems with the e cigs. £80 is about eleven days worth of normal cigarettes for him, so I would say that is a pretty good investment. Even some insurance companies are offering policies to people who have been off cigarettes for one year and currently using e cigs. There is tv programme on ITV at 7.30pm next Thursday called, "The rise of the e cigs" May be worth a look

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I got one for Christmas and its great, but its not working properly (I think I've put it back together wrong) so am waiting for my daughter to visit to see what I'm doing wrong. I particularly enjoy the vanilla flavoured one.

my son thinks they are good and is thinking of getting a big one for £50, he showed me one on you tube.

he said they are just as good as real cigaretes and you can smoke them in the office. he said he wasnt thinking of giving up smoking but he might do now, he said he will save a fair bit of money by buying the electronic ciggies.

my brother buys them too and he smokes less which is good.

Forgot to add that hubby has worked out that at current costs. His outlay every week for fruit flavoured nicotine should be about £3.00. Much better that his £77.00 for a week

the money side of it doesn't bother me too much as i know it will cost me far less on e cigs than it will with normal cigs

plus the fact that you don't get all the shit that is in normal cigs

im going to give it a go

what can i loose?

Apologies small error. He spent about £50 per week not £77.00. His health has also improved. No cough, clear chest and raring to do things lol

...Up on the Downs

"ive been tying to give up smoking for the past year, went cold turkey for quite a while but recently found myself slipping back

Drugs babe, I did the NHS course and used Zyban some years ago and it made it so easy - and I have never even looked back. Wierd. I reckon I needed the dopamine hit all along!!

But the single most useful thing they ever told us was it takes 6 weeks to get the receptors in the brain to 'die back' as it were, and ONE cigarette to take you straight back to square one! That stopped me even thinking of trying one.

Good luck! xx

No, Zyban is a drug you get from the Doc - it started life as an anti-depressant and they found it had a 'side effect' of causing cigarette revulsion. So, it makes you feel really UP and it makes fags taste foul and give no benefit (in my experience). Win win!! I used nicotine inhaler fake cigs for a couple of weeks too, but found the Zyban really took away the need. See if there's an NHS stop smoking course in your area - they are really good and cover all the choices. x

As a none smoker I was all for people to swop over to e cigs and while it was the only odd one or two who were using them the aroma was not so bad but now they are increasing in popularity and as more people switch to them the differing flavour smells in the office is now getting overpowering. Many e cig smokers are even flexing their "you can't touch me as it's not smoking" muscles and blatantly blowing smoke/vapour in non smokers directions

You can smoke them in the office if you have no manners the flavoured ones smell just as bad as a ciggy.

And the liquid they put in on the bottle is a skull and crossbones is it realy harmless.

That is ecause it contains nicotine which is poisonous in overdose quantities, you will find there may be a few things in your office would come into the same catagory. They smell nothing like real cigs.

Well just enjoy them before 1) they are taxed, 2) you have to get them on prescription, 3) companies self regulate banning them before law suites, need I go on

ive been smoking since i was 16 and ive tied everything in the past

i know i just cant quit and need some help

but patches and the chewing gum just make me feel ill so im hoping the electronic cig will do the job

having something in my hands was always a problem but i found that chronic masturbating got me into more touble than just smoking lol
