I recently had a bottle of red shiraz by yellow tail (Australian) and I must say it's rather delicious.
has anyone got any recommendations for a red or white? |

Don't buy wine in bottles with flat bottoms, buy wine in bottles with a indent in the bottom as this means the wine is better quality. I prefer wine made from a single grape variety rather than a blend and for red wine the further south the grapes are grown (in the northern hemisphere) the better I like it and the more northern for white grapes and the dryer the better for white. I'm not a wine snob just worked out what I like over the years. |

"Yellowtail do a great chardonnay as well "
Will try that one next. as mentioned its down to individual taste and I'm blown away by the taste of this . one for the cost.
I did a quick search for soleil gasgoigne but not had any luck finding a local supplier

People tend to go for the familiar grapes, like chardonnay, merlot etc. Try something different like a white Reisling for a change and see if you like it. |
