Would a username ever put you off making contact with someone? I have seen a couple recently with 'slag' in the name and for some reason, it makes me want to pass them by.
I am not questioning peoples choices about they call themselves, how they have a right to do as they wish etc, just wondering how you all perceive usernames? |

It shouldn't be a factor but it has put me off in the past, I obviously can't put the name but one in particular put me off with reference to their love of unprotected sex. Also crude/swear words etc. |

As it's a name they've given themselves, yes, I think it describes the owner totally. Some have put me off, most are innocuous in my browsing experience. |

God yes! I would avoid anyone with a crude username or even a pretentious one, that has 'sexy' in the title as obviously sexy depends on the person viewing.
Saying that, it was only a little while ago I realised that mine could be classed in the same bracket 
But I've had it for years now, so there is no changing it now  |

I tend to view usernames as the equivalent of the first impression you give when you meet someone in person.
