No I have my say, if I'm ignored after that, up to them, being ignorant not really part of my make up.

Double that up with getting on with your life, looking happy , getting new clothes , hair etc . Never mentioning it to friends , if it is bought up , just pretend you didn't know |

Me either, if I do try to be nice it just comes out as horribly sarcastic or cutting so I avoid people I don't like to avoid the awkwardness.
