As Valentine's day is approaching I'm reminded of back in the day as a lovestruck teenager spending ages writing all sorts of cheesy poems inside an oversized valentine card to send to my latest crush.
Do you have a cheesy poem you were particularly fond of? I can only remember the following:
I wish that I was Basil Brush
Sitting in your room
And every time you looked at me
My heart would go BOOM BOOM
Not surprisingly it never did get me a poke behind the textiles block

more creative than romantic, although like most blokes, i have my moments.
i just get inspired every now and then and send her a clutch of them, then nothing for ages lol |
