Have you ever made a milk jelly? Just substitute milk for water. Works well with strawberry and surprisingly lime.

I'm toying with macaroons. Never made them before and want to give them a go. The only thing that puts me off is the macaroon binge that will come after.

Salt over pork fat and oil ..... and hot over .. tune down after 30 mins. Little oil all over really helps.

The cooking time seems to be the hardest part, you have to keep a close watch on them.

I make a low calorie "cheese" cake using jelly made with 1/4 of the water and quark stirred in, on a base made from Jordan's cereal bars.

Yum

"Lemon cheese cake, an easy one x"

Cheesecakes are a lot easier than people think, baked ones, New York style are the best.

For the main part of the cheesecake, its simply cream cheese, cream, eggs and sugar. To make it a lemon one, you can add the zest of two lemons, and add a small amount of the lemon juice.

If you want a step by step for the whole thing, PM me

I use a set recipee with lemonade sugar and gelatine, heated till the gelatine dissolves, then allowed to cool a little, then whipping up cream cheese and double cream, flavouring and then fold the gelatine mixture in and chill till set.
