"Are you some religious zealot who decides who people can and cannot marry?"

why does it have to be a religious question? People have views on who should and should not marry for various reasons, not just religion.

Not saying its right but why mention religion?

I don't have a daughter but I think there are a lot of people who grow old in this world alone and so when my son grows up no matter what sex, colour, race, religion etc etc the person he chooses to marry is as long as they are happy that's good enough for me

I wouldn't mind if any of my kids wanted to marry a TV, my son or daughters. I would possibly put my foot down if one of them started dating Evil Edna from Willow the Wisp though!

If your daughter does get married to a TV, the wedding might be fine but the reception probably will be terrible.

Crikey, this is a choice post on so many levels.

1, do you tell your daughter who she can and can't fall in love with?

2, by 'one' do you mean we are something akin to a pet, or some kind of strange animated object, rather than a person?

Most Tvs are straight, so there is a good chance that many are married to them. We have to let others learn for themselves who is right for them. I think the days of unhappy tvs in marriages are probably fewer now though, which is a great thing.

Excellent shoe in of the word crikey. I managed cripes yesterday, which I was pretty pleased with.

If my daughter fell in love with a TV, and it worked for them, them I'd just want them to be happy.

Mind you, I would draw the line and stop her from marrying anybody that she met on Fab - that is going too far...!!!

It depends. I know it sounds a bit bigoted of me, but I've always had a problem with Sony's.... I'd be happy if she met a nice Panasonic or LG

Just one question though, who would be wearing the wedding dress??

We can give our opinions to our kids on what we think of thier partners, but I don't think we can ever tell our kids who they can an can't marry.

If it was a Panasonic I would be ok but a Samsung would need some getting used to.

Sorry?

What did you say?

Omg! Misunderstood.

Ah but nothing like the joy of an unexpected Crivens!

As to the OP, chances are that there are plenty of daughters out there already married to TVs, some know and some don't. Let just doesn't come into it.
