I watch the so called celebrity one as I like seeing what arses they make of themselves. Lee Ryan is doing a splendid job of that at the mo lol.
Never watch the one with Joe Public in though, would only do that if I knew someone in there, and that isn't very likely.  |

It was bad then, but a new idea and therefore had some small merit. Now years later it is nothing but a constantly rehashed glass boxed pressure cooker that foolish and vainglorious people are fed into and set on one another for the voyeuristic and quite sadistic pleasures of a TV audience.

It is twelve people.
Selected, Intervied , Invited to do a job of work. They are not captured and imprisoned.
All privacy is not removed. No one watches or hears them on the toilet or in the bath or shower.
They are there for three weeks. They KNOW what is expected of them and they know what will happen.
They are protected if anything goes too far.
They get paid a sum that would take you or I five to ten years to earn.
I'd call it masochistic.

yes a lot are just there for the money and even say so .And most in there don't have a lot of work on and so they are jumping at this show so they can step into the limelight again. |
