I'm just curious, but why would you buy a copy of something ? |

"You can cum anytime with me NA
Copies ie fakes, jeckles with me now??
Ok, so why would you buy fake shoes ? "
Call me a snob but I only buy real shoes, something pretending to be a shoe, like a tree or a dustbin just won't do! |

Is this a serious question lol
How many people buy fake/copy watches and clothing etc etc
Some cant afford the originals;Ive got a real 18ct Rolex but rarely wear it. I prefer my fakes/copies.
Why wear say my original Versace shirt £298 all the time, when I can wear a copy £3+ |

I've just never understood the concept of buying forgeries. Are you trying to pretend you can afford the items ?
Surely when you buy a £298 Versace shirt you are doing so for the name and quality. A £3 shirt won't have that quality no matter what name you pin on it. |

Youre in a minority then... The markets massive. Theres more people with fakes in the world than people with originals.
Obviously you didnt read my reply closely. Ive got the original things ie a gold rolex, saville row clothing and most of the top designers. Im currently sat in a limited edition Ralph Lauren shirt.
I dont try and convince people that my fakes are real.... Im not pretentious |

So why wear a watch with a Rolex badge on it when it is not a Rolex ? |

You dont always get what you pay for quality wise. Leather and cotton etc is still leather and cotton.... Some factories create whats called cabbages.
Lots of companies copy top designers designs but they change a few things and then sell them on the high street. |

But why the need for the fake badge, I'm really not understanding it. I realised a cotton shirt is just that, but why stick a Versace badge on it ? |

"Isn't it supposed to by "red shoes no knickers?""
My landlord made that comment to me as I was leaving for work in red shoes last week!! Totally inappropriate and lucky he didn't get a punch in the face!!!
And I was not going to admit that he was absolutely right!!!! |

Cos there's fools who'll buy it to impress other fools.
BTW, there's more to leather and cotton than just being leather and cotton - and that's before you start on how well things are made. |

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
I got a pair of everyday, comfy for walking around, knee high black boots for £90.
Now I want some red shoes.
And on the other element of the thread - I wouldn't buy a forgery/fake. If I wanted a label then I would get that item. I don't see the point in having the real label item and not wearing it. Clothes, watches, shoes etc. are for wearing.

"Yes! Got a fab Alice Temperley tote bag for £75 reduced from £300. Very happy!
Ooh what store?"
John Lewis, but I got it online at 5pm on Christmas Eve when the sale started. They were sold out of all sorts, including Mulberry, within hours. |

Somewhere in North Norfolk |
I haven't bought anything in the sales.
I'm trying to clear stuff out, not acquire more!
As soon as I've cleared enough space to work in, I am going to have to sort out my shoes and get rid of some. I have far more than I have space to store. Many are unworn. |

I need some new bed linen to go with my new bed which should be delivered soon. I haven't seen anything that's caught my eye in the sales though.
It's going to have to be cheap stuff though because I'm broke at the moment. |

Look at Sainsbury's bed in a bag then. £20 (double) for some quite pretty sets. |

King size was £25 and £30 and a couple of sets had cushions and bed runners in too.
I'm banned from buying new bedding as it's a bit of an addiction. |

I may try compromising and buy cheap polycotton duvet sets but nice sheets. Since most double/king sets only have two pillow cases I could buy a nice pair too.
I'm in the city tomorrow so I'll have a look round. |
