As Yasser Arafat said its people fighting over whose imaginary friend is more powerful.
Religion is there for the feeble minded.
Catholicism is there for the continuation of evil. |

and so it continues.
Debating religion shouldn't be excluded from forums, as its what they're for, but I do find it concerning, how the debates revolve around scathing attacks or grossly offensive comments when this subject is discussed. Its an incredibly interesting subject that, like it or not forms part our history and evolution.
We don't seen to be able debate on the middle ground.
There is difference between being religious and Christian though ?
Perhaps I should lighten up |

Here we go again with the insulting comments.
Some people believe we were created by an intelligent being, others believe we evolved from a lifeless cell...
Both require a leap of faith. |

The topic will always fascinate, enrage, inspire people, and few are capable of remaining civil when, rightly or wrongly, feeling under attack. |

God always seems quite chilled about it. At least that's what she tells me. |

And those are perfectly valid debates worthy of thought....delivered as mature debates, not as provocative taunts. |

Spot on and eloquently put. But people can be heroes in a keyboard, so its easier to attack what isn't understood, which explains the lack of middle ground or moderated discussion. |
