Reading an old thread about talking on the phone first, how most people insist on it and think if people can't talk on the phone, they won't be any good in person. Well, I really don't like talking on the phone, even to friends and family but in the flesh I'm totally fine. Wonder how that's going to pan out  |

I'm guilty of that , I put it down to preference. I don't use the veri system and so use this as a way of deciding whether I want to meet someone. Just as the veri system works for some this works for me and I won't be changing it any time soon. |

Very rarely did I ever speak on the phone before meeting someone. Despite working in the call centre industry for nearly 10 Yeats I don't like talking on the phone in my Real life which o guess is odd. |

It was more texting, I dared go to bed in the middle of conversing with them so they sent me a very nasty load of abuse at 5 am, stopped giving it out after that |

I'm not the best with talking to people from Fab on the phone before a meet either so don't insist on it. I don't do the cam thing either but my first meets are always social somewhere neutral. I'm reluctant to give my number out now too after gaining a stalker |

I don't do anything phone related with fab, as I can't be trusted not to start pratting about. When I worked in a call centre I got caught messing about one or two times by my gaffer. Although I am pretty proud of telling one lady about how my uncle got so fed up of a mole that when he caught it, he buried it alive. It took her brain 2 minutes to catch up on that one.  |
