We'll not quite. But as I was getting ready to come home from my friends he noticed my heel was loose (on my boot, he's not a surgeon) and being the handy type offered to fix it.
So then I'm putting my coat on and asked for my boot back, and was told "oh, you can't wear it for at least twelve hours"!
So I had to drive home in fluffy slippers.
What favours have you had done that backfired?
(though I'm still grateful to be saved the cost of a cobbler) |

Not me.
My ex bf. He jacked my car up to investigate some minor problem or other. Except he accidentally jacked it on the fuel tank and creased it, (he thought the jack was far enough forward but was mistaken).
That'll teach me to do my own car stuff in future.
I had to buy a new fuel tank.
I'm supposed to have fitted it by now but I'm holding on until I can borrow a friend's 4-post lift. |

on a similar trend.
ex kept telling me her exhaust was rattling.
i told her she was just moaning.
went on for 6 months until i relented and scooched under the car to take a look.
pushed the back box one way, then the other, only to get a face full of rear silencer full in the face as the pipe had snapped.
that will teach me for dismissing her concerns lol |

She didn't hear it blowing as well as rattling?
I know the minute there's even a hole in my exhaust from the noise it makes. |
