"How long since labour started?"
She's been in slow labour for a couple of days, but she's texted to say pains are very strong, and she thinks she will have to go in tonight, she's staying home as long as poss  |

I was shocked how quick they send them home now... She was home by 8am and had baby at about 1am.

No my other daughter has a one year old, and yes times change if she has the baby in the early hours, her partner can stay with her, in the birthing suite? In a double bed!!! And they can all go home in the morning!  |

I did actually do this and my sister caught my baby, not advisable tho as I tore badly and had to be rushed into surgery to be stitched up :O
Still id do it all over again it's a magical experience!

She saw her midwife this morning, 4cm dilated, waters broken! .... But babies breech :/ so she's been whipped down for a c-section. As I type. Fingers crossed for her. Thankyou for your well wishes will keep you posted |

Fingers crossed all is well and I think it makes it very exciting when you don't know what sex it's going to be. I never did with any of mine.
Hope it's a girl far too many boys been born in my area xx |
