My dad has had strokes, heart attacks and irregular heart patterns over the last 10 years... I haven't heard him talk like a human for 10 years, he could not life a big bottle of pop for 10 years... 2 weeks ago he had a pacemaker operation :d today, he's HOM :D:D:D:D:D:D:D YAY I just got of the phone to him..... he was coherent, English :D:D:D:D::D:D I have him back mate... hwo about that one? hahahahahaha

That was such a wonderful post ... I could really 'feel' the emotion.
I lost my dad nearly a year ago and miss him terribly - this thread is great for reminding everyone to treasure their dads.

Wow what a response from you all :D
& to be honest with you all I have had a great night with him & a nice morning chat too, & since it's been a 10 year wait it is a really great feeling to feel like he can slowely return to a normal life style... He still can't lift things (& he has been warned not to for the next few weeks) But as a person he is unrecognisable, his looks and words are much healthier... Unless you knew him 10 years ago you wouldn't know it was the same man :D hehe is a best xx
Well I won't forget any of these kind words any of you have written, because I think you have all been really sweet considering I don't know a single one of you... Thank you all xx
Final word....
I will make sure i return to this site on a regular bases after May the 16th (My uni work hand in date) So until then brothers and sisters lol xx
