I think that the intro to Money for Nothing by Dire Straits is the best music intro, closely followed by Pink Floyds Shine on you Crazy Diamond.

Any other good ones out there.

Phantom of the Opera Iron Maiden...the best intro ever...hummed it in Wakefield HMV as I didn't know what it was when I heard it on the Lucozade ad with Daley Thompson in it and the guy on the counter showed me the way..been a rock chick ever since!!
