So bloody expensive???

Just found the wallpaper I want in my boudoir after seeing it on DIY SOS mths ago.

Was all excited nearly pee'd myself with excitement until I saw it's £49 a roll

When I was decorating my bedroom in my head I'd decided on Chinese silk wallpaper until I saw the price. I ended up with £25 dulex paper lol

Never knew next did wallpaper! only found out this morning amazon do!

will have a look, planning on whole room but if I can only afford just one wall then that's better than none

Also found out brewers sell it, I have a friend who works there, awaiting to see if he gets discount

I'm new to all this DIY stuff and so far I don't like it

Next wallpaper is quite nice for the price too, tend to find the cheaper the wallpaper the harder it is to put up!! I have had to settle for feature walls in all my rooms as I can't justify the cost and I quite like bold wallpaper and probably look a bit too much.

My bedroom one was £35 a roll at the time so just did the wall behind my bed, it's nearly 5 yr old still love it!!

It's really not difficult, you could even have the stencil made for you. There's a site called cuttingedgestencils that do similar designs to the wallpaper you like.

You need to put price into perspective.... it's easy to spend £50 on a few pairs of knickers... and even if they are massive knickers for a right fat bastard, you're not gonna get as much coverage as a role of wallpaper.

This is wise advice. Don't use knickers to cover your walls, it's far too expensive.

To be fair, if it was a year ago I wouldn't think twice about the cost, but alas it's not and I'm not earning what I did so everything I purchase I have think twice about....
