After watching tears filling in MrWho's eyes after sitting on his "gentleman vegetables" I'm intrigued as to which gender has the higher pain threshold?

This is apparently true, and makes sense when you consider that they're the ones who have to give birth. |

You've just made our point for us, women will give birth but then still go on to have more children, no man will ever ask for a second kick to the nuts. |

But do you get from a kick in the nuts? Other than a ballache, nothing! We get a little bundle of joy, well worth doing it again |

Medical Fact.
A human body can withstand 45 del (units) of pain. At the time of giving birth a woman will experience 57 Del(units) of pain. To put this into perspective, that's equivalent to fracturing 20 bones at the same time.
Women win hands down, and we choose to hve further children out of love. greatest gift you can give anyone. xx |

Over the rainbow, under the bridge |
Traditionally we assume that women have a higher pain threshold but research shows that women have more pain receptors than men and so feel pain more, not less.
We're just more stoical about it, which may be more cultural than physical. |
