I have all of mine on my upper back. 2 reasons - one being they are easy to hide for work. The other being they represent my family and they have always got my back! |

I nearly got one on my back but decided against it as I reckon my back and bum are my best features. Also, as you say, I prefer to see my tattoos. But my daughter has a lovely tat on her shoulder blade and it looks great, so I suppose its for others to admire. |

having a tattoo isnt about showing it off. its about individuality about how it fits in YOUR life and WHAT IT means to you.
I dont care if people see my tattoos or not. I KNOW what they mean and what they represent and thats what matters.  |

Mine is a work in progress
Got the outline and a few of the large roses coloured - got to go back for the other roses, vines and 3D butterflies to be finished
Fills up most of my back and I have the option to carry it on down my hip/leg  |

I've nearly gotten a couple on my back over the years but thought the same thing.
Once I've finished losing my weight I'll get the one done right down my ribs, hip and onto my thigh. Don't want to to look distorted x |

I debated to have mine on the small of my back or my hip and thought the same. Took me years and years and years to pluck up the courage to have one and months to chose the right lily so decided I'd want to see it, often, so went with the hip. When I lose more weight I might add to it |

I have seen a nice one to go across the shoulders, just need to

Two of my daughters have back tattoos. My eldest also has stars across her back that wrap around her body. Whenever I see them all I think about is the hours and money I spent rubbing Johnson's baby lotion, cocoa butter and olive oil into their beautiful skin for them to ruin it with ink.
