"Anyone watching?
It's quite sad.....poor people"
Why are they poor?
I'm not 100% sure I like this programme for this very reason. Pity parties.
Why does it have to focus on those with disabilities who can't find love?
It also makes me uneasy as I know there will be jokes made about the people on the show |

Yes and I think its great, take away the disabilities, they are struggling just the same as able bodied people do. What I thought was brilliant though was that the dwarf lady has won 4 medals at the Olympics! Absolutely fantastic |

Don't watch this show ... It's feels like it just encouraging a pity party ... There's plenty of us in the world who are in the same boat whether they are disabled or able bodied ... Why parade some people's difficulties just because they struggle in their own way? |

They are not poor people!
Shouldn't be treated any different to other people
I like the programme, I think it shows it how it is and I guess a lot of people see disabled people being on their own but in reality they aren't. They deserve love and happiness as much as anyone else |

Most laugh at the awkwardness of the situation not the disabilities, the tourettes guy is hilarious. I dont pity or feel sorry for anyone on the show they're now celebrities in their own right - fair play. |

Tbh there is no such thing as undateable! People arent going to the right places or they dont or cant get out for some reason either mental or physical disabilities but this doesnt make anyone undateable! And this programme was created to make everyone aware of what other struggles people have in life! I admire everyone on the show and think its brill!! |

They are trying to squeeze every moment out of life they can. Well done to each and every one of them.
The only pity I have is for the people who look down or sneer at the disabled.

Why are they "poor?"
There are God's gifts on here who can't give it away so don't understand why they're making out these individuals are to be pitied.
I watch the programme and feel "embarrassed" for doing so. |

i like it when they meet someone they get on with. i felt a bit sad for that girl with the pony, wished she had more confidence, i didnt think she looked that bad, when you know whats wrong with her, it helps people understand about different disabilities.
i didnt like the man she met, he wasnt right for her at all, sometimes think it would be better if the disabled people met people who werent disabled, someone who had more confidence in themselves maybe. |

They don't always meet other disabled people: the guy who met the short black woman wasn't...he was gorgeous! |

The more exposure people with (perceived) disabilities get, the more accepting society becomes of their differences, compared to the society norm.
50 years ago black & asian people were stared at in the streets and disabled people hidden away, but with more exposure and integration they just become people, labelled as different.
Spend time with anyone seen as disabled and before long you see past the differences and see the person, we're all different in some way or another, that's what makes us interesting and unique. |
