Lots of people are attracted to opposites, you can see that in any supermarket, large women paired with slim partner, large men with skinny partner. Blondes with brunettes, etc etc.
Men usually attracted to opposite, IE women, women attracted to men.

Its what you give out, you should expect to get back, no one wants to attract someone who shares their problems, but in life what you give out you always get back! |

Personally I think time and place is the biggest factor for meeting would be partners - you could be the person they find most attractive in the world, but it doesn't matter if you're never in the same place. |

Who we are attracted to and who we can get can be 2different things lol
Like the 3groups of people in the swinging world I did a thread about a while back, sometimes going for 'a like'usually works out

for me i am attracted to guys who are like me..
loving, caring, kind, loves kids, wants a family life, works hard, not from money, has values and morals, likes same kinda music and films, likes singing or is musical..
im nothing to look at, i dont like typically gorgeous guys, certainly not a fan of muscular men..
so mr average will 'do' for this miss average  |

im not that confident or clever but i like people who are.
i like people who are similar to me though, down to earth, dont take things too seriously, likes animals, enjoy the simple things in life, someone who has a mind of their own. |

People dont have to resemble us or be the same age, though I have to admit that Mr Iconic will be attracted to curvy women with large boobs and I also share thst similarity.
But people do have to be of a similar mindset, share similar values, backgrounds etc. I wouldnt meet people who drank a lot, who took drugs, who used vulgar language etc because we dont do that and people need to have a certain level of intelligence as we would have very little in common. |
