Ooooo Nostalgia -
Used to love Underworld on the Spectrum & also Speedball 2. Daley Thompson's Decathlon brings back memories of a gold ball, rubber keyboard & being told off by my mum as a result of combining the 2 |

I have an old laptop that I use to play elite and frontier elite.
Sort of surprised no one has bought up and bolted a MMP on to frontier elite in the same way tank wars has morphed into world of tanks. |

"anybody remember manic miner and jet set willy
Anyone remember who fooling long it took the tape to load - like ten minutes and sometimes it would get to the end and crash
Remember it well on my Commodore 64. Syntax error on line 653 "
With that level of detail may I suggest a stint in therapy |

First game I ever played was harrier attack on the speccy!
Dizzy, Wings, cannon fodder were probably my favourites on Amiga.
Golden Axe, streets of rage, revenge of shinobi, road rash and skitchin' we're my mega drive favourites.
How has no one mentioned goldeneye on the N64?! Unless I missed it. As a young lad we had loads of mates round playing it! Honorary mention for mortal kombat too. FINISH HIM! Zelda: Ocarina of time rocked too.
GTA vice city, Time crisis 2, red dead revolver, devil may cry, battlefront 2, grab turismo 3, God of war, Max Payne were the bees knees for me on ps2.
Dune 2, command and conquer series, half life series, deus ex, doom, age of empires, medal of honour were my pc classics. |

loads of great games of my childhood.. and different ones, depending on the platform.
i used to love the old Shareware disks you used to get on the front of PC format, or PC world. there were many games like Commander Keen, Mystic Towers and Doom.
one of my all time favorite games was one called "Tie Figher" i can remember wasting hours of my life on that game.
for consoles, i would say the likes of Mario world, Mega Man and Wonderboy were among my favorite.
I did buy a PS3 a couple of years ago, but the games do not appeal to me like the older ones did. its seems that the visuals of a game is more important than gameplay. |
