no matter |
I ordered an item in November and paid via AA .. eventually after about 3 weeks I had an email cancelling the order as the item arrived back to them badly damaged and they had no more to send.. returned my money to AA all clear.. today the item arrived Not emails or notification.
have called AA and they say my account is clear. where do I stand re payment ./ returning it etc.
do I contact them ? offer to repay or just ignore. Just curious really . I want to stay legal of course. |

Well the original contract to buy an item it now finalised as they have not supplied the item and refunded the money. So you now have no legal redress with them.
An Item arriving at your door is covered under the 'unsolicited goods act' Look it up on google
Basically you can keep it and it up to the supplier to realise the error and contact you. any cost of collecting the item is down to the supplier. You are not obliged to do anything
Just check the act

I would email them stating an unsolicited parcel has arrived and could they please arrange to collect it within 28 days, or it will be disposed of.
You are not required to arrange to send it back or do anything, but they do have your payment details and may charge you for it,
I suppose it depends if you still want it or not, but seldom do we ever get anything for nothing. |
