I think we should all show much respect to all the old swingers on fab.
You have to remember that all those born in the 50s/60s and 70s were not raised amongst the technology generations.
They have embraced it very well.
My hat goes off to you |

Thats right John . Our generations created and developed that technology. Now you can enjoy it.
Lol .
Realise your looking for a reaction John given the direct poke in the eye of misinformation to us alleged simple old duffers haha.
Good basis for an opinionated debate though

Born in the 60's. My that is old. Some of us programmed PETs using machine code. So we wouldn't understand technology then? Youngsters these days have no idea of peeking and poking. |

It seems the older you are the more angry about being old you get.
All this swearing is damaging to my more youthful ears.
Keep the language down a little please.
You're corrupting the younger generation(s) |

I deserve respect damnit. Posting on here using a punchcard is darned difficult. To get a post made in time that it's still relevant (ish) is a skill!
And never mind that the cpu of the device I use runs at half a clock cycle per second.
Cheeky whippersnappers don't know they're born.

Born in the 60's and can use any computer Apple, Android, Linux, Windows, develop Progs, build web-sites...list goes on.
The older generation actually use computers for their proper use not just Facebook & Twitter.
I do think the OP was joking but some of us oldies can leave the youngsters standing with computers, gadgets & technology lol!

That's right in the days when school didn't allow calculators when we had to count & use our minds, can't believe they now let kids use them in tests.

Agree , yes OP made a great tongue in cheek remark lol.
Yes us oldies blow away the average youngsters in technology.
But as an ex unix, windows database and php programmer I must add ive met some fantastic young people wizz kids who can program as easily as count to ten.
In summary we are all good at something age irrespective.
Who has thought hmmm well ok im not so hot on technology who cares im sizzling hot in the bedroom?
Which is the most impressive and important here ? Lol.
Right now I need something more basic than technology
