Are you still in touch with your ex husband/partner's family. Im still very close to my first fiance's family and thats 20 odd years ago, they even rang to ask my advice on what should be played at his funeral. My ex husbands family still sort of pass messages asking how i am via my son but one has requested me as a friend on facebook and cant decide whether to add her or not |

My situation is much the same. If someone requested me as a friend as long as they are in contact with my kids and I got on with them and still would if we met I would accept their friend request.
However, only you know if you would be comfortable with seeing what is going on in your life (if your son doesn't tell them)

my ex doesnt have any family alive
but you must be special for them to want to stay in touch

Don't have a problem with my ex in laws. I still go to theirs to collect my daughter sometimes and my ex m-in-law always invites me in and offers a cup of tea. (My jokes about mother in laws on other threads are just that - jokes) |
