I have suffered for many years but normally if I can't sleep there is a reason... Yet for the last week or more I've not been able to sleep before 3.
I've tried all my normal tricks.. ans what's worse is I've not had a chance to catch up yet.. I'm getting increasingly grumpy too.
So when you cant sleep what's your trick x |

I lay in sleep position and deep breathe, in for 5 out for 5. Concentrating on the breathing relaxes me and sends me off.
Failing that I get my OU text books out, that usually works within about 5 minutes. |

If all else fails I get up and go out for a bit. If I've any shopping to do the 24hr supermarket is handy or even just a walk around the village. Then when I get back I find I can often get some sleep. |

Have any many quick tugs as I can in an hour. Warm my bedroom up by putting the heating on before bed. Get into bed, watch a DVD. That's not complicated and then go to sleep. Unless I am stressed/upset or worried. This always works. |

I'm glad I do 4 Days 4 off 4 Nights 4 off so my body clock gets to adjust. Not going to be fun sleeping today though as road resurfacing out the front is dur to start at 8am. If it gets too bad methinks I will relocate to my daughter's room at the back of the house when she goes to work. |
