There's a programme on C4 tonight about masking.
I love TVs/TG and CDs who make the effort, but this seems weird to me.

The girly I met had a bit of stubble and when she said she was going to get ready, I was thinking bloody hell, she could have started earlier, as it takes me a good hour or so to look this bad. It took her 15 seconds to put a rubber doll mask on. She was a very nice girl, but it was a surprise.  |

I am loving this programme, I would like one of those masks. Its extreme rubber and fetish wear.
I have experimented with make up to look like a doll and indeed went to Torture Garden in this dolly makeup, took me hours to do. If I had a mask it would save on all that time  |

I have worn a full face venetian mask before. It was very hot to wear and the mouth part didn't have a hole so I had to drink using a straw and sticking it up underneath the mask. |

im a female and i wear wigs and apply make up and own a few masquerade masks.. guess its a cover up and a way of transforming into someone else. its not as drastic as changing sex and only for photo's.. but its cool and i enjoy it |

I have always used elaborate makeup and face decoration, jewellery, contact lenses, wigs, mehndi, venetian masks, authentic ones, not those bought from joke shops. I didn't start doing it after joining fab and seeing others. I've always enjoyed creating different faces using makeup. I've been stared and laughed at many times but I enjoy it because I am an exhibitionist, I've done it since a teenager.
Never tried a silicone mask though, I really like that look is |

I'm amused by so many on here saying they think it's weird.
I have several friends who do the doll thing and it seems quite normal to me. Not an every day thing, of course, but for dressing up for a party or event.
I'm told the masks are hot and make it quite difficult to hear. Conversations with a doll can be hard work, especially in a noisy club. |

Give it time and it will catch off, I can remember going to gay clubs in the early 90' s you very rarely saw a tranny , now almost every gay bar has a gobble of trannies .
