Bloody loads, I guess you get that a lot on free sites. Its way to easy to be someone you're not online, I guess people do it to boost their ego, live a life they'd never have at others expense, sad really. Having said that, I did it to a guy who really mucked me about, no showed at a hotel I booked and paid for. It was my first meet nearly 4 years ago so maybe I was a little naive but I was shocked at how easy it was. Got him to book a hotel as my alter ego and ooops, forgot to turn up lol, I'm bad but it was fun  |

Revenge is a dish best served cold;)
Well done for getting your own back and I have had a couple of no shows but lucky for me it was just for an initial coffee and chat. |

I guess people get scared which is understandable but when you go to the expense of booking a room that is plain right disgusting manners.
And I was entertained whilst waiting as always take my laptop so I can work whilst I wait and I got a lot achieved on the no shows.
If i say I will be somewhere I will be there unless there is an emergency that I could not get out of but I would always tell them as manner cost nothing after all |

Well as I say, my first ever meet, didn't ever occur to me that someone would do that, not show knowing I'd laid out money but there are some nasty disrespectful people around. We even spoke on the phone and he seemed totally genuine. I even txt that morning saying if he'd changed his mind it was fine, just let me know so I can get a refund but he was adamant he was up for it!! Still, he know how it feels now. |

lol, sorry _helsea 22! Going back to the original thread, having done it myself I can see why people with low self esteem issues do it, a fit 25 year old blonde gets way more messages than a slightly overweight average looking 40 year old like me, its a shallow world internet dating but its life I guess. I watched that program last night and can't believe some people are chatting for years without twigging on, that's nasty paying with people's feelings like that for so long but I guess it goes too far to stop. Personally, I'm me, no one else and you either want to meet me or you don't, won't lose sleep over it lol |

Very true I have seen a few times and am always amazed that its gone on for years without them think hang on why have i not met them yet!

That's me, thanks  The brutal truth however is that given the choice, 99.9% of guys will choose the young fit woman and he did (to his demise lol)! If I haven't met someone within 2 weeks on here I just forget it and move on. |

hmm so I have 14 days and counting but I always say youth can not replace experience in my eyes. I remember taking out a stunning young lady when I was younger but as lovely as she looked she had nothing between her ears which made for a poor date in my eyes but that's just me. |

lol arouse the mind and the rest will follow. Its not good if your physically gifted and then have no idea how to use it..
Plus when you have a meet its not all thrusting and panting you will often have a short break in between so you need to be able to talk to the person and laugh or have I got it wrong |
