This place is a learning curve for me. Making a good first impression is a tricky business. You simply dont get a second choice if you are a man. There are thousands of you and very few girls that are really your type. When you come across one that might be a good catch. You know almost nothing about her personality and you wish you had the magic power of knowledge to what you you have on offer that she really like and how to let her know about it and catch her attention. Should you write a big introduction in your first message? Often diesnt work coz you are obviously making too much effort and thats not attractive on itself. should you keep it simple and say hi how are you. Definitely not coz she is fed up of telling everybody how she is today.
So girls this question is for you to tell us. What's the type of first message that would catch your attention?   |

I check out profiles before I open a message, Your profile is good a little tweak and it will be great, funny and informative, nice pics, so I would open ya message, definitely humour in ya message like Queen of Tarts says goes a very long way

I've been under the impression that it's all down to putting in the effort; reading profiles and write a message and not expect much from said effort very often! |
