if you are aware that someone is self distructing ..is it appropriate to say something ..or is it 'their life ..their choice' ?

thanks for the replies guys ...some people deny its happening and it can seem confrotational no matter how well intended you are ...sometimes no matter how well intended you are ..it aint welcome

Haven't really thought about it. I believe something more powerful than us is out there somewhere. But where exactly and as what I don't know.

Depends on lucky timing, there may be moments when your voice can be heard and words understood. If you know them well then try to pick the right time, if not say it anyway they may hear it later.

at least you care enough about whoever to consider trying .. i would make the effort and even if it all goes tits up you can at least tell yourself you tried rather than regret not doing anything .. just consider the consequences and reasons for taking either course before you do anything
