britain has a very temperate climate because of the atlantic drift .. we dont realise but we are so lucky to have such a varied climate .. thats why we talk about the weather so much .. in our green and pleasant land |

just as a comparison tomorrow.. it is my old university, Michigan state, First day back after xmas.... and they have closed classes for the 1st time in 30 odd years...
the reason.... expected forecast tomorrow... 12-16 inches of snow... wind chill of -35 degrees.....
it is expected to be one of the coldest days on record for a large part of the midwest and eastern US tomorrow..... |
