i think as a nation it is a huge issue to many ...you see loads of adverts about weight loss slimming clubs etc ...lots of slimming products in supermarkets and you can hardly pick up a womans magazine without finding the latest diet on the cover so i dont think channel 5 are alone on this one |

Maybe they're trying to corner the market in adverts for Weight Watchers and the like.
Factor in the adverts about what a great holiday a 'new, slim' you can look forward too and it all makes sense.

the best one is americas biggest loser... its hilarious... watching the tubbies trying to run .... they starve and train all week .. some lose no weight at all cos they stuff their faces in secret and start crying when the get voted out |
