"I like them, they have their uses but I don't love any."

There are a few who I really genuinely like, and quite a few who I will openly admit to lusting after ... or is that over ... and a few who I am a teeny bit in love with !!!

"I like them, they have their uses but I don't love any.

I realised a while ago, there is nothing that I need a man to do because I can't do it myself. I've had no choice in the matter.

Even little things, during the tidal surge I asked my stepdad to drive over and pick sandbags up for me, he couldnt be arsed so I took my wheelie bin, filled 10 bags and pushed them home.

Well like you I'm an independent woman...there are lots of things I'm able to do but quite a few that I'm unable to do...my best friend is male and I'm glad as he has been no end of help with the things I cannot do...

I have never had anyone to really look after me (either sex) or do things for me, I do have a couple of male friends who would probably help if I asked but I have had to be so independent it has made me a little stubborn.

Hence why having dinner cooked NYE for me was alien and really appreciated, I was a little out of my comfort zone. One of the polish men round on Fri insisted I took his seat, for once I sucked it up and accepted, I was impressed with myself.

I love men, I love being looked after and treated like a princess and playing the helpless female, I'm not helpless but I find men like to look after their women

yes we can all do things for ourselves but why should we not ask for help with some things? It's not a sign of weakness. And what does needing a man have to do with loving men anyway??

That was my point that there is no shame in asking for help...

It's not about needing men that was not the point of the thread...it's about the love I have for them..don't get me wrong there are some wicked horrible men...however I do sometimes believe women can be far worse then men...
