Cigs, I would say...

Guessing there are more lung cancer deaths than due to moto accidents.

Smoking. Because if someone blew smoke in my face and a lot of it. Then didn't apologise. They'd be in hospital

some context would help, perhaps in terms of:

potential slow agonising death from smoking induced cancer

vs

potential immediate death from crashing motorcycle

?

"Smoking cigarettes or motorcycles?"

obviously smoking. usually a slow painfull death, over a period of years, as opposed to a quick death at speed, with very little pain.

What % of the worlds population smoke as opposed to ride motorbikes.

There is no safe way to smoke, you can ride a bike sensibly or recklessly.

Some folk can smoke 40+ a day and live well into their 90's and beyond, some young experienced riders die as a direct result of other's actions

For the sake of simplicity I would ask " What is most likely to kill you?" Statistically speaking.

I've had one apprentice die in a car, age 19, passenger. One apprentice age 20 on a bike, none from smoking so far. Sister age 39 breast cancer didn't smoke. God damn these whiskey blues.

I think I've already given you my answer on that one, basically I haven't got a clue til I'm dead

Might as well be hovercraft horror or deep sea diving disaster.

How can you compare the two ?

"Smoking cigarettes or motorcycles?"

I'd say the latter. I nearly killed myself trying to roll a Harley Davidson in a rizla.

"Cigarettes, motorcycles are only dangerous in the wrong hands"

That doesn't make sense. What about crashing because of spilt diesel etc or someone knocking off the rider. Could be the best rider in the world but it still happens.

I love being on the back of a motorbike!

And agree with previous post... Only dangerous in the wrong hands.

I ride motorcycles and smoke... I'd much rather stop smoking than riding. The bike makes me feel alive, the smoke makes me feel lousy.

That aside, far more people die of smoking related illnesses than from motorcycling.

"Smoking cigarettes or motorcycles?"

Smoking cigarettes as its a fact you will damage your body in some way doing it. Motorcycles can be ridden safely for years and you come to no harm.

Smokers are lifes hedonists .............

We gamble with our health............

I'd rather die ill , than die healthy.........

My gran smoked 80 a day till she was 96, my best mate died of lung cancer at 38 and hardly ever smoked............

Without the billions of pounds in tax from smokers the govts would be broke

Rant over .........need a cig .......

I'm am now a very good motorcyclist due to advanced training etc.... Obviously you have to be totally observant etc on the roads with all the bad drivers about... Different to racing I guess... Nice leathers n runoffs etc.... Obviously not talking about the TT

Looks like some ninja editing been going on as my comment wasn't aimed at the OP...ah well

Shiny side up to all
