This is being reported on every website, but it comes only from one newspaper in singapore.
The problem lies in the fact that NK is such a crazy state, it is easy to believe what comes out of there, especially since they make no comments themselves. So you might say that of ten crazy stories, that 5 could be true. But which ones? Nobody knows!!
All you can say it, there's a good chance that it may have happened, or may not! |

The initial source of this is unverified chinese media. Probably not the most reliable source.
Also it's a world away from the initial reports of being shot. |

Yep - my thinking entirely. The initial reports were by firing squad.
The thing with North Korea is I don't think we'll ever know. Like Burma and other secretive states we don't know what is the truth, what is fiction; we know what the state government release. All I can be certain of is I'm bloody glad I don't live there! |

"Last week he was shot...tomorrow he'll have been tied to a rocket and shot into space.
I'd take it all with a pinch of salt as no one knows what goes on in that country! "
Well it was reported by abc news a month ago.
So still don't know why its Comin g out again |

If they were part of that regime then no doubt they would have ordered that done to other people themselves in the past. How can so many people lack basic humanity? though I suppose history has shown it time and time again. |

I'm not naive enough to think we do. My point wasn't about living in the UK and actually at no point did I say about the North Koreans knowing the truth (which I don't imagine they do)

Because it's being reported now by a state run chinese news source, and if they are dissing NK, it's serious. |

Newcastle and Gateshead |
this is one of those that we dont know because North Korea is so secretive.....
the story came from a chinese paper (which wouldn't have been allowed unless the chinese govt wanted it out there) which was picked up by a singaporean paper....
since the bloke was seen as the chinese man in north korea, it is being seen as their way of discrediting the NK Government..... |

Shouldn't give salt to dogs"
