Car needs new altinator, this morning I walked home, took an hour and a half. Seemed a good idea at the time. My legs are telling me otherwise right now. But normally about 30.00 I would imagine. |

I pay £4.10 per shift I work, I think! £2.70 to get to work by tube and because I finish early I get the bus home which costs £1.40. I only do three shifts a week without overtime so per month it's less than £50. |

Don't forget parking as well if you're driving in... For me now it's about £30 per week in fuel and up to £35 per week parking... Then add in the shoes... |

"Roughly £30 a week in diesel plus £55 per month in parking. All because I've changed offices for the same company "
I am lucky, have free parking at work. |

I do agency work and have to be at the place of work by 8.15 ideally but by 8.30 at the latest. I can't drop the kids off til 8 so some days depending on where I'm working, I can only get a taxi. Still beats being on jsa. Some places I can get the bus in time. So my travel costs vary from £3 to £12 a day. |

I used to walk to work and back and it was the first time I did it, an hour and a half, once I kept doing it though, I whittled it down to just under an hour, especially if the kids were off school |
