Should photo verification be mandatory

Part of me says yes it should be mandatory but not everybody is on Fab for meets and many use it for forums use and event information.
There is a filter so that you can only see photo verified filters if you are that way inclined. |

I think that's down to any individual.
Our veris were giving to us at parties,people having a laugh with us.
Woke up the next morning our veris were on here a lovely surprise.

Photo verification may help limit the snoopers who come on here for a titillation with no interest in meets. Wives hunting errant husbands and vice versa.
Perhaps it would limit Men setting up single female accounts and wasting genuine members time. We would be in favour. |

Lots of people say it shouldn't .. I guess if you have verifications people know you are real whether or not you are photo verified
I still now if I just see the green tick and no showing verifications have a little doubt in my mind - except with the people I know are genuine

No. Wouldn't solve anything.
It's easy to fake and at the end of the day I pay no heed to any veri except 'meet in person' - and even then I'll do my homework.
Possibly why fakes, timewasters and te like don't worry me in the slightest. They're easily avoided! |

the site should ban un veri from even seeing my profile.
we have no interest in chatting to unveri so why should they be able see our pics .
guess its down to £££££ from the advertising.no free members ,no money from our pics |

I think that should be the same for all the options. Say if I only have women ticked as wanting to meet, only women should be able to view my profile.
I just have pics on show that I don't mind people seeing. I restrict the rest to friends only or private. |

I'm not photo verified and will not get photo verified. If it became mandatory, I'd leave.
It's not because I have anything to hide. I'm happy to verify I'm female, or what I look like, by 'phone or on cam, to those people I decide to prove myself to.
Meet verifications mean much more to me anyway. I pay very little attention to photo verifications.
Past experiences have made me wary of meeting people not verified by meeting. |

No.
There isn't ONE single benefit to be had by users in forcing other users to have photos verified.
If this is your must have criteria then simply communicate ONLY with those with verified photo's.
Then , after you have arranged a meet with them lie awake all night wondering if they used their own photos or someone elses.
Get up in the morning n start a thread about it. |

And the fact that they have met someone outside of a club guarantees that they will turn up to meet you how exactly? Verifications only prove someone is genuine, they aren't any guarantee of reliability. |

From experience people with veris that have turned up at home meets that are consistent are normally reliable just because you meet in a club and just chatted doesn't make you reliable and yes there's never a guarantee of anything in life just more of percentage chance that they will turn up ,just my way of ing out time wasters |

(typical bloke, didn't read instructions and posted a pic of us holding a card saying username!)
Not sure we can be arsed to have another go tbh
I think it's blindingly obvious if people are 'real' or not.... No real need to be a Rocket Scientist...just a bit o the old 'common' |

arguably, maybe it should be a requirement to advertise for a meet?
then those that only want to cam or chat on the boards wont have to, and its all gravy |
