I use the John Frieda stuff... either the blonde enhancing or the Volume Boost. They're both good (and my hair is very fussy!).

I'm becoming a dry shampoo addict! I love the Batiste XL one... I sometimes use it even after I've washed it coz it gives you amazing volume. My poor hair!

It might be your scalp. Sometimes mine gets dry in patches and that causes horrible patches of greasy hair.

Have you tried using a cheap basic shampoo with no conditioner every second time you shampoo or just conditioning the ends?

My daughter suffers from quite greasy hair and we have tried many things but the one that seems to work is Timotie Pure. It's quite light and smells lovely.

Hope this helps

I use herbal essences, every other day

Oh, and a tip if your hair gets greasy quickly...dry shampoo or light hold hairspray, just a little and blast with the hair drier, will give it a little boost!

I use whatever is on offer at the time.

And why does the conditioner always run out first? I don't like mix and matching sets so when my conditioner runs out I have to throw away what ever is left of the shampoo

Timotei pure for greasy hair & herbal essences silk n shine are what I use. I alternate them every hair wash day. Try not to wash your hair every day as it strips natural oil x

I have the opposite problem, I have to wash and condition my hair everyday as it is so curly and looks terrible if I don't.

So thankfully it doesn't get greasy.

I use John Frieda Frizz Ease as I have curly hair which is prone to frizz. I use a hair mask conditioner about twice a week and serum too.

I do also use head and shoulders too as hair needs a blast of something from time to time

My hair gets greasy quickly too, some of us just produce more sebum than others.

Don't stimulate your scalp too much as this makes your scalp produce more sebum, if possible, give your hair a blast with cold water after washing.

After drying your hair, set it using the cool setting then when using straighteners try to start midway down so you're not collecting sebum and putting it elsewhere.

I use shampoo for greasy hair but try to avoid washing it too often, for example, if I'm staying at home I will leave it greasy for a day so I avoid making it worse by over washing.

I use tresemme shampoo and conditioner and a different brand frizzy hair one every other wash, my hairdresser also recommends not putting the conditioner up near my roots to avoid greasiness, it works too.

I use herbal essences most of the time, usually the one for wavy hair or for coloured hair.

My hair gets greasy quickly so i wash it every day, sometimes twice a day as i cant stand greasy hair.

I use Aussie shampoo and conditioner. I have always found whatever I use it is important to use the same brand conditioner and I wash my hair as a general rule every other day, or even leave it until the third day.

The problem is that if you wash your hair too often you strip the natural oils and then your sebum glands go into overdrive and overproduce oil which makes your hair greasy then you wash it again...

If you can bear to it's better to wash it every other day or possibly even less often to give the oil production a chance to calm down. It may take a little while but it will get better.

I found this too. Then I stopped using conditioner every time I washed it. I also don't always blow dry it but let it dry naturally - I have really curly hair so it looks ok if I don't.

I use Alsi's herbal shampoo and conditioner - works fine for me but I just make sure I don't use too many products on my hair. I also never use straightners - would be pointless on my hair anyway!

I only wash my hair every few days. My hair only gets dry but luckily not greasy. My hair is pretty full bodied and needs serum and lots of work on it to make it look and feel good.

It does take me ages to wash dry straighten/kink it.

Love my hair feeling soft and kinky...just like me

Tried that but it didnt work and all i ended up with was mega greasy smelly hair so not doing that again. My hairdresser says theres nothing wrong in washing hair as often as i do as long as i carry on using gentle products and as i like clean hair thats the way to go for me

Even without the grease i would still have to wash it at least once a day due to my job !

I use the Charles worthington big hair range but use the conditioner very sparingly and avoid massaging it into my scalp. Dry shampoo is my new favourite discovery too! Don't have time to wash my hair everyday and this stuff is amazing. It absorbs grease so maybe if your hair feels oily, give it a quick blast of batisse?

My hair gets greasy really easy, I was recommended superdrugs own brand for greasy hair. It wasn't amazing at getting knots out, in fact it was a chuffing nightmare, however my hair didn't greasy nearly as quickly as it usually would
